Location
The Palmera Mar Apartments of Puerto Rico are located in the hillside that overlooks the beach and harbor area. This property is close to the central shopping district. The shopping district has bars, restaurants and shops lining the streets.
In just minutes you will be able to walk to the beach or forest. The forest has many trails for hiking and biking. Mountain bikes and scooters are for rent in the resort. The local public transportation system runs regular routes from the property to various points on the island.
Accommodations
The rooms at the Palmera Mar Apartments are bedroom style and have separate living areas. These rooms have double beds and large dressers. Satellite TV, direct dial telephone and safe deposit boxes are standard features at the apartments.
Kitchenettes are furnished with new appliances and will be great for the self-caterer to take control of meals. The guest with a special diet may find this very nice. Furnished balconies and large bathrooms with private showers that are kept very clean are also standard.
Facilities
The pool area at the Palmera Mar Apartments has a large fresh water pool surrounded by loungers and sunbeds complete with umbrellas. The pool has a designated area for smaller children to splash in. When you get hungry you will have two choices for your meal.
The main restaurant has a menu with a lot of options and a cafeteria that serves buffet style meals. Let’s not forget the beach and all of the water sports and beach activities you can join in on. Scuba diving, snorkeling and parasailing are very popular in the resort.
